Now an eagerly anticipated annual event amongst local real ale fans, the Institute Beer Festival starts at 12 noon on the day before the Show and lasts for three days. As well as a mouth-watering choice of 25 carefully selected real ales, the 2019 Festival included a new look cider bar as well.A wonderful atmosphere was enhanced by live music on each of the days courtesy of Jon Brindley, The Coustics and Cartwright.Admission to the Festival is free and we are indebted to Pembertons for kindly sponsoring the souvenir pint pots and to everyone who sponsors a cask (listed below).
2020 Beer FestivalThe situation with COVID-19 has meant that this year’s Beer Festival is unable to take place as planned. We do, however, hope to be able to organise this event as usual in 2021. Please like us on Facebook or follow us on Instagram for the latest Show and Beer Festival news.
