Originally staged in a field next to the Institute during the 1940s by the Wrea Green Garden Produce Society, the Annual Village Show was re-introduced in 2016 by the newly formed Wrea Green Horticultural Society. The 2019 Show, held in a marquee behind the Institute, attracted over 500 entries and was visited by hundreds of villagers. The Show is very much a village event and to qualify to enter you must either live in the village or the immediate surrounding area (click here to see a map), be a member of Wrea Green Institute or attend the village school.
